Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate efficiently with the design, product, and engineering teams across various applications.

• Produce clean, efficient, modular, and maintainable code for both front-end and back-end development.

• Evaluate the existing codebase for opportunities to enhance performance.

• Create new products from inception, contributing to architectural decisions.

• Conduct thorough testing of code prior to deploying it to production.

• Uphold design standards and ensure consistency throughout product interfaces.

• Keep up with programming trends and drive technological advancements whenever project feasibility allows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in developing production code using languages such as NodeJS, Java, GoLang, etc., along with frameworks like Spring Boot, ExpressJS, Play Framework, NestJs, and Gin.

• Strong understanding of relational databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with various communication techniques (PULL/PUSH) for interacting with backend servers or services, such as REST APIs and WebSockets.

• Experience in integrating third-party APIs and libraries based on documentation.

• Proficiency in working with Docker containers and deploying systems on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Knowledge of building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as CircleCI, GitLab, or Jenkins.

• Solid foundation in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.

• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).

• Extensive background in web application architecture and development.

• Experience with caches, queues, and various other cloud technologies.
