Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side services and applications.

• Implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

• Collaborate with frontend and product teams to integrate interfaces with backend logic.

• Design and maintain both relational and non-relational databases.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to the team.

• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

• Stay informed about new technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

• Propose continuous improvements in processes, architecture, and tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Python, Java, or Node.js.

• Experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL).

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.

• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.

• General understanding of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deployment practices.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

• Preferred: Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of microservices architecture.

• Experience in CI/CD environments.

• Interest in machine learning or data-driven systems.
