Backend Engineer, AI – Agent Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage backend systems that deliver AI-driven functionalities in a production setting.

• Create inference pipelines, orchestration layers, and define service boundaries around various models.

• Take ownership of production aspects such as monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident management.

• Enhance latency and throughput across inference, caching, batching, and streaming processes.

• Proven experience in operating high-throughput, low-latency services.

• Understanding of AI inference patterns including LLMs, embeddings, and multimodal approaches.

• Proficient in debugging distributed systems while under load.
