Backend Developer, Semi-Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using .NET and distributed architectures.

• Collaborate with Frontend, Product, Data, and AI teams to define and implement technical solutions that align with business needs.

• Write clean, efficient, and testable code (Unit/Integration Tests), ensuring scalability, low latency, and high availability.

• Actively participate in technical decision-making, questioning trade-offs and providing execution perspective.

• Implement API contracts defined with the Frontend team, ensuring smooth and efficient integration.

• Debug and resolve issues in cloud environments, escalating complex problems when necessary.

• Realistically estimate tasks within agile methodologies, proactively escalating blockers.

• Document the written code while adhering to the team's technical documentation standards.

• Identify opportunities for improvement and technological modernization in existing applications and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in backend development with C# and .NET or similar technologies, working with REST APIs, distributed architectures, relational databases, and cloud environments.

• Hands-on experience with distributed systems and microservices.

• Proficiency in SQL Server; experience with NoSQL (CosmosDB or similar) is desirable.

• Fluent in Azure (Functions, App Services, Service Bus).

• Experience writing unit and integration tests as part of the daily workflow.

• Advanced student or graduate in Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.

• Intermediate technical English (reading documentation and technical communication).

• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), version control with Git/GitHub, development best practices, and software design.
