Backend Developer, SDE 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Development of all server-side logic.

• Definition and ongoing maintenance of the database.

• Ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests.

• Creation and upkeep of software products across various verticals.

• Assisting in the development of advanced products for both clients and internal teams.

• Designing user flows and translating them into logical entities within the code.

• Integration of user-facing elements crafted by front-end developers with server-side logic.

• Designing database schemas.

• Building reusable code and libraries for future applications.

• Optimization of applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Implementation of security measures and data protection protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Backend Development.

• A BTech, BE, BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Proficiency in JavaScript (NodeJS).

• Familiarity with Express framework.

• Knowledge of MongoDB.

• Understanding of Python is a plus.

• Comprehension of microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization across multiple systems, servers, and environments.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities as necessary.

• Awareness of the distinctions between various delivery platforms, such as mobile versus desktop.

• Experience in implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests (using Mocha + Chai).

• Strong understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
