Backend Developer – Pharmaceutical Domain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create well-structured technical solutions and develop high-quality code.

• Implement new features and components.

• Refactor, troubleshoot, and maintain existing software.

• Conduct peer code evaluations and adhere to engineering best practices.

• Execute unit and integration testing.

• Analyze project requirements and produce detailed feature designs.

• Generate technical documentation.

• Engage in conference calls and face-to-face discussions with clients.

• Take part in SAFe Agile estimation, grooming, and planning sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional software development experience.

• Strong practical experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Solid background with Node.js and NestJS.

• Proven experience in production environments using Next.js.

• Familiarity with scalable API design principles.

• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of NATS.io or similar event-streaming platforms.

• Experience integrating IAM/SSO solutions like Keycloak.

• Strong grasp of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and service-to-service communication.

• Understanding of best practices in application security.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.

• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences sectors is advantageous.

• Experience with Python and R is a plus.

• Familiarity with scientific or analytical platforms is a plus.

• Knowledge of regulatory or compliance-driven environments is a plus.

• Experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems is a plus.

• Understanding of data visualization tools is a plus.
