Backend Developer – Omie ERP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the creation of sophisticated technical solutions for the Omie system;

• Gain expertise in the software backend architecture and engage with it by evaluating its components, structure, and functionality;

• Ensure the application of best practices in both manual and automated test development, as well as in the execution of software requirements;

• Recognize and confirm business and architectural solutions through collaboration and knowledge sharing with the development team;

• Engage in tactical and operational discussions and assist in defining the annual goals of the area concerning technical issues, conducting feasibility assessments and proof-of-concepts;

• Mentor, train, and work together with the development team to identify business, architecture, and design solutions through effective communication and knowledge transfer;

• Ensure that the short- and medium-term objectives of the development team you are supporting are met, with the ability to adapt practices, standard procedures, and task priorities as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, other IT-related fields, or Engineering is preferred;

• Preferred: Familiarity with ERP system functionalities;

• Proficient in programming languages and development platforms (CoreBuilder, PHP, JavaScript, Python, Node, C#);

• Knowledgeable in relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL);

• Familiar with cloud platform services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud);

• Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN);

• Background in writing unit tests;

• Comprehension of the core principles behind scalable applications;

• Development experience adhering to OWASP guidelines (https://owasp.org/);

• Proven experience in customer support or service roles;

• Experience collaborating within a team environment;

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities;

• Intermediate level of English proficiency;

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in the field.
