Backend Developer, .NET/NodeJS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core (SDK 8.x) and Node.js;

• Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, including complex stored procedures, functions, and queries;

• Build and consume RESTful web services for both internal and external integrations;

• Design and support ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading;

• Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability;

• Utilize tools like Postman to validate and debug APIs;

• Engage in all phases of the SDLC, from requirements analysis through deployment and support;

• Manage version control, builds, and releases using Team Foundation Server (TFS);

• Deploy applications in production environments and provide post-launch support;

• Offer application support, resolve production incidents, and address security vulnerabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience with .NET Core (SDK 8.x)

• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including advanced procedures and performance optimization

• Proven experience in ETL processes and data integration

• Solid understanding of RESTful services and API design principles

• Experience in application development or integration using Node.js

• Practical knowledge of unit testing frameworks and test-driven development

• Experience with code reviews and adherence to coding standards

• Familiarity with Postman or similar API testing tools

• Understanding of the complete software development life cycle (SDLC)

• Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) for version control and build management

• Experience in deploying and supporting applications in production environments

• Proven ability to resolve incidents and security vulnerabilities.
