Backend Developer, .Net, Node.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services utilizing .NET Core (SDK 8.x) and Node.js;

• Optimize and develop SQL Server databases, which includes creating complex stored procedures, functions, and queries;

• Construct and utilize RESTful web services for both internal and external integrations;

• Design and assist in ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading;

• Conduct unit testing and engage in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability;

• Utilize tools like Postman to validate and debug APIs;

• Take part in all stages of the SDLC, from requirements analysis through to deployment and support;

• Manage version control, builds, and releases via Team Foundation Server (TFS);

• Deploy applications to production environments and offer post-release support;

• Provide application support, resolve production incidents, and tackle security vulnerabilities;

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with .NET Core (SDK 8.x)

• In-depth knowledge of SQL Server, including advanced procedures and performance tuning

• Demonstrated experience in ETL processes and data integration

• Strong understanding of RESTful services and principles of API design

• Experience in developing or integrating applications using Node.js

• Hands-on knowledge of unit testing frameworks and test-driven development

• Experience with code reviews and adherence to coding standards

• Familiarity with Postman or similar API testing tools

• Comprehension of the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC)

• Experience using Team Foundation Server (TFS) for version control and build management

• History of deploying and supporting applications in production settings

• Proven capability to troubleshoot incidents and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
