Backend Developer – Managed Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will create Java enterprise applications and design domain models, along with establishing clear service-layer and repository structures.

• You will implement REST APIs, which include DTO mapping and message-based communication.

• You will plan and execute integrations with our managed services.

• You will develop reactive Java applications and implement event-driven architectures.

• You will build microservices in Go and enhance Kubernetes environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in developing Java enterprise applications.

• Proficient in Spring Boot / Spring Framework and/or Jakarta EE.

• Experience with JPA/Hibernate and optionally with mapping frameworks like MapStruct.

• Skilled in designing domain models and constructing service and repository layers.

• Proficient in implementing REST APIs and managing JSON.

• Familiarity with message-based communication.

• Experience in designing relational data models and collaborating with DBAs.

• Practical experience in unit tests, integration tests, and ideally end-to-end (E2E) tests.

• Some experience with authentication and authorization processes.

• Experience with Microsoft Exchange.
