Backend Developer, Delphi

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Accountable for developing programs that facilitate access to the database for storing and retrieving system information.

• Supplies data to the front end for display on the user’s screen, whether in a web browser or mobile application.

• Oversees communication with third-party systems through integrations.

• Creates server-side tasks and manages the application logic, serving as the core engine of the application.

• Implements software through coding, including the deployment of developed systems within the Bank's environments.

• Maintains software written in legacy technologies, applying timely and targeted modifications to ensure availability, stability, performance, and alignment with business requirements.

• Constructs APIs and customizes integrations.

• Documents delivered software, highlighting the simplicity encouraged by agile methodologies.

• Develops software utilizing test-driven development (TDD) practices.

• Designs databases and integrates them with other applications.

• Assesses and implements application performance monitoring.

• Conducts acceptance testing, controls, and software quality assurance (QA).

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with the primary programming languages utilized in backend development.

• Expertise in object-oriented programming or functional programming paradigms.

• Experience in building APIs and customizing integrations.

• Strong understanding of code versioning processes and Continuous Integration practices.

• Proficiency in test-driven development (TDD) methodologies.

• Skills in database design and integrating with other applications.

• Experience in evaluating and enhancing application performance.

• Knowledge of the Agile Manifesto best practices and agile methodologies.

• Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in Information Technology or related fields such as software development, data analysis, agile methodologies, or product development.
