Backend Developer – Contrato Temporal Larga Duración

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop software applications according to business requirements and specifications.

• Analyze requirements to design technical solutions and create proposals for validation by the management team.

• Ensure the quality of assigned developments through unit testing, debugging, and peer reviews.

• Deliver well-structured, maintainable, and thoroughly documented code.

• Collaborate with a multifunctional team, including frontend developers, UX/UI engineers, project managers, and more.

• Work closely with the infrastructure and operations division to ensure the proper deployment of deliverables.

• Provide technical guidance, identifying the best solutions to business challenges presented.

• Interact with internal teams from other departments and external vendors.

• Validate deliverables received from the internal development team or external collaborators.

• Participate in the continuous improvement of tasks related to project development.

• Ensure compliance with costs and deadlines for assigned tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Higher education in computer engineering, software development, telecommunications, or a related field.

• Proven experience in managing back-end development solutions such as SPRINGBOOT, JPA, HIBERNATE, LIQUIBASE, and JASPER REPORTS, as well as web design patterns like AJAX, RESTful APIs, and Microservices.

• At least 2 years of experience as an analyst/programmer for software applications.

• Knowledge of cloud-oriented solutions such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.

• Familiarity with architectural patterns and best practices for designing a modular, scalable, and secure system.

• Experience with version control software (SVN, GitHub, and/or Bitbucket).

• Previous experience in the development and/or maintenance of ERPs.

• Previous experience in IT consulting is a plus.

• Training and experience in database management (Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL).

• Knowledge of Document Management Systems and/or Business Intelligence.

• Familiarity with test automation technologies (SonarQube, Playwright, etc.).

• Knowledge of frontend solutions such as ANGULAR, JAVASCRIPT with TYPESCRIPT, and BOOTSTRAP.

• Understanding of agile methodologies, such as SCRUM.

• Proficiency in both spoken and written Spanish and English.
