Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Create and implement scalable and robust backend services.

• Develop APIs and integrate third-party services along with Solana RPCs.

• Oversee databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) while ensuring data integrity and security.

• Apply caching strategies using Redis to enhance performance.

• Utilize PrismaJS for effective database access and management.

• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as DigitalOcean and Google Cloud Platform.

• Leverage BullJS for processing background jobs and Cron for scheduling tasks.

• Write unit and integration tests using Jest to ensure code quality and reliability.

• Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members for seamless integration.

• Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in web development and blockchain.

• Design and implement a microservices architecture to enhance scalability and maintainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in backend development, focusing on web2/web3 technologies.

• Proficient in Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and PrismaJS.

• Familiar with cloud services (Google Cloud Platform, DigitalOcean) and DevOps practices.

• Experience with writing unit and integration tests using Jest.

• Understanding of event-based architecture, microservices design patterns, and the ability to design scalable systems.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Familiarity with blockchain technologies, particularly Solana, is a plus.

• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and experience applying them to real-world challenges.

• Experience in designing and optimizing backends to efficiently handle large volumes of data.
