Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold backend applications utilizing C# and .NET.

• Work collaboratively with frontend developers and other team members to integrate services and APIs.

• Maintain code quality through rigorous code reviews and testing, including unit, integration, and load tests.

• Apply development best practices and enhance performance through optimizations, such as design patterns and clean code.

• Engage in planning meetings and share ideas for ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in C# and .NET.

• Solid understanding of relational databases, including SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

• Strong familiarity with non-relational databases such as MongoDB and Redis.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and possess good communication skills.

• Awareness of agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban.

• Proficient in automated testing frameworks, including xUnit and NUnit.

• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).

• Proven track record of developing RESTful APIs.

• Nice-to-haves:

• Contributions to open-source projects.

• Understanding of Vertical Slice Architecture and the use of Mediator.

• Familiarity with multiple technology stacks, e.g., Flutter, React, Go.

• Insight into the financial market.

• Knowledge of software metrics, particularly the four key metrics.

• Understanding of software versioning strategies, such as Git Flow and trunk-based development.
