Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance backend applications in system modernization projects and digital transformation, directly engaging in code writing, refactoring, and optimization.

• Implement and advance modern architectures, applying best practices in design, versioning, testing, and code quality.

• Collaborate closely with product, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure proper technical implementation of solutions.

• Actively work on modernizing legacy applications, participating in the migration to architectures based on microservices, containers, and cloud.

• Conduct technical code reviews focused on quality, performance, security, and adherence to established standards.

• Develop solutions with an emphasis on scalability, performance, resilience, and security, working from the backend to the frontend when necessary.

• Participate in agile squads, contributing to technical planning, refinement, implementation, and continuous delivery.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automations, and DevOps practices to ensure efficiency in the development and deployment cycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.

• Solid experience in development with .NET Core / C# and React.js / TypeScript.

• Knowledge of Java and/or Python will be considered a plus.

• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, SQL, and NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS (or other public clouds).

• Experience in digital transformation, application modernization, and migration to cloud-native architectures.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).

• Preferable experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and DevSecOps practices.

• Familiarity with integration standards (REST, gRPC, messaging, queues).

• Knowledge in VB6.

• Experience in digital transformation, application modernization, and migration to cloud-native architectures and monoliths.
