Backend Developer – AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Design and execute multi-file coding tasks, including bug fixes, feature enhancements, refactoring, and testing.

• Compose clear specifications in natural language along with reference implementations.

• Create and enhance unit and integration test suites.

• Assess tasks generated by peers for accuracy, clarity, and feasibility.

• Detect edge cases, ambiguities, and possible failure scenarios.

• Ensure coherence between specifications, code, and anticipated outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in written English at a professional level.

• 3 to 7 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• High proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, along with a working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go.

• Experience in backend or full-stack development within production systems.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.

• Demonstrated ability to debug and navigate extensive, multi-file codebases.

• Experience with code reviews, refactoring, and production migrations.
