Backend Developer – AdTech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain scalable Node.js services using ES6+;

• Enhance application performance through profiling, optimization, and adherence to best practices;

• Upgrade, refactor, and modernize current codebases;

• Design efficient data models and collaborate with SQL/NoSQL databases, focusing on query optimization and caching;

• Write and uphold unit and integration tests, contributing to high-quality code via code reviews;

• Diagnose and resolve production issues in Linux environments, ensuring system stability and reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with RTB / DSP / SSP / ad serving pipelines;

• 3–5+ years of backend development experience in Node.js, Go, or Python;

• Strong grasp of asynchronous and concurrent programming;

• Experience in building high-throughput and low-latency systems;

• Proficient SQL skills (MySQL/PostgreSQL): indexing, query optimization, execution plans, and transactions;

• Hands-on experience with Redis/MongoDB and caching strategies;

• Confident debugging and profiling abilities;

• Solid understanding of HTTP/TCP and distributed systems;

• Strong command of Linux CLI and Git;

• Clean coding approach with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and reliability;

• Bonus skills: AdTech / OpenRTB 2.x/3.x (auctions, bid requests/responses, schain, ads.txt/sellers.json); ClickHouse, Aerospike, Nginx; parallel/stream data processing; experience with high-load/distributed systems; Kafka or RabbitMQ.
