Back-End Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Create and document rapid, secure, and user-friendly APIs used by both front-end and back-end systems.

• Develop successful integrations with various applications and third-party software solutions.

• Engage in the complete implementation process, from design to deployment.

• Utilize AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) as a standard part of your workflow, while honing your skills to review and validate the generated code.

• Work alongside Engineers and the Product Manager to strategize and implement new features.

• Take part in the Back-End Engineering Chapter and contribute to discussions regarding architecture.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a Software Development position.

• Proficient in Python and familiar with at least one of its frameworks, ideally FastAPI.

• Experience in implementing microservices.

• Understanding of API design with REST, gRPC, GraphQL, and documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with established data storage solutions.

• Capability to design and document technical solutions before implementation.

• Effective communication skills in a remote setting — clear written communication and dependable asynchronous collaboration.
