Back-End Developer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications.

• Create and sustain services and APIs utilizing Java and Python.

• Build and manage data pipelines using Dataflow.

• Implement event-driven architectures with Kafka.

• Design and optimize database schemas and queries in MySQL and Spanner.

• Operate within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.

• Engage in technical decision-making regarding architecture, scalability, and performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Architecture, QA, Product, and Operations.

• Assist in incident resolution and promote continuous improvement.

• Ensure adherence to development best practices such as version control, code reviews, and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in backend development.

• Proficiency in Java and Python.

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Experience utilizing Dataflow.

• Knowledge of Kafka for messaging and streaming.

• Understanding of MySQL and Spanner.

• Background in APIs and microservices.

• Experience working within agile methodologies.

• Preferred: Experience in the financial sector or core banking.

• Experience with distributed architectures and high-volume systems.

• Knowledge of observability and monitoring practices.

• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps methodologies.
