Back-End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the team to design, construct, and sustain dependable backend services utilizing Python, Django, and associated technologies.

• Develop and enhance RESTful APIs to drive our front-end and mobile applications while facilitating integrations with third-party partners.

• Monitor, identify, and address bottlenecks to ensure rapid, efficient, and scalable applications that provide a seamless user experience.

• Contribute to the technical architecture of our platform, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and robustness as the product advances.

• Implement and uphold best practices to ensure the security and integrity of sensitive health data, compliant with healthcare regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of professional experience as a Back-end Developer.

• More than 2 years of hands-on experience in Python.

• Experience with Django, including the Django REST framework.

• Familiarity with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL.

• Strong grasp of software architecture principles and design patterns.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.

• Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic startup environment.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficiency in French and English.
