B2B Collections Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• The Collector will engage with high-volume clients and offices to address complex issues and secure payment on escalated overdue invoices.

• Facilitate communication, information sharing, and relationship development necessary for collecting payments due within the agreed contractual terms.

• Provide suggestions for process enhancements based on recognized trends and a comprehensive understanding of the broader context.

• Proactively reach out to clients with overdue accounts to devise collection strategies.

• Conduct regularly scheduled collection calls, ensuring all critical aspects of the call are addressed and documented in the designated system.

• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with external clients and internal teams.

• Collaborate with the sales team to align collection initiatives.

• Foster a strong working relationship with colleagues within your department and across the organization.

• Carry out any additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2-3 years of practical experience in collections, specifically with B2B customers.

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish.

• Strong customer-oriented attitude and mentality.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience in PeopleSoft preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail and strong documentation abilities.

• Capability to effectively juggle multiple conflicting priorities, adhere to tight deadlines, and follow verbal instructions.

• A robust work ethic, with the ability to operate efficiently and urgently.

• Skill in prioritizing assigned tasks effectively.

• Willingness to adapt to ongoing changes in policies, procedures, and technology, facilitating increased profitability and success.

• Employ advanced skills and knowledge across a variety of processes, procedures, and systems to recover outstanding invoices.

• Analyze data to identify and resolve complex issues.
