This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• The AI Enhanced Azure Platform Practice Architect II acts as a senior enterprise consultant, architect, and technical leader within the Azure DevOps and AI practices.

• This position expands the conventional role of an Azure Platform Architect by incorporating AI-driven capabilities, tools, and intelligent automation throughout client engagements.

• Evaluates proposals and develops project plans.

• Collaborates with delivery managers across various practices (InfoSec, Network, Data Center Support, Managed Services, etc.) to ascertain requirements.

• Provides expert advice to clients regarding DevOps best practices and AI-augmented solutions.

• Anticipated to allocate about 80% of time to delivery support and 20% to sales engineering support.

• Connects business requirements with technical AI capabilities, ensuring cloud and AI initiatives are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational objectives.

• Leads intricate projects to successful completion within budget and on schedule.

• Designs solutions by aligning a customer’s business challenges with comprehensive technology solutions.

• Develops and implements Terraform Templates and architects Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline — or equivalent practical experience.

• 8–10 years of experience managing DevOps implementations across both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure deployments.

• 3+ years concentrated on Azure AI solutions design and implementation.

• Previous management and consulting experience is essential.

• Practical experience with the Azure GUI, Azure CLI, PowerShell, ARM Templates, Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Git.

• Familiarity with Azure AI and ML services including Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.

• Proficiency in Python, R, or other AI/ML programming languages.

• Strong comprehension of cloud-native design principles and microservices architecture.

• Previous experience or knowledge of VMware, Windows Server, Linux, and LAN/WAN concepts.

• Experience with data engineering tools and frameworks.

• Understanding of security and governance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).

• Proven track record of assisting customers with Cloud Enablement and familiarity with Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework.

• Strategic thinker with practical technical expertise across both platform and AI domains.
