Azure DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and expand cloud infrastructure and CI/CD capabilities.

• Implement and oversee Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Terraform.

• Promote compliance alignment throughout DevOps processes.

• Automate deployment, monitoring, and operational reliability across distributed cloud services.

• Collaborate with security, compliance, and audit teams.

• Deliver infrastructure and application deployments during weekend release windows.

• Enforce and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with both Azure and AWS.

• Proficiency in YAML-based pipelines (including multi-stage, reusable templates, variable groups, environments).

• Completed a four-year post-secondary education program in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• Expertise in Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub/GitHub Actions.

• Proficient in using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

• Familiarity with Azure Cosmos DB, Kubernetes platforms (AKS, EKS), or GitOps tools (Argo CD, Flux).

• Experience with observability tools such as Azure Application Insights, New Relic, Azure Monitor, and CloudWatch.

• Relevant certifications such as AZ-104 and AZ-400.
