This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise data platforms on Azure.
• Collaborate closely with business, analytics, and governance teams to provide scalable, high-performance data solutions.
• Create ETL/ELT pipelines and execute Medallion architecture.
• Integrate data from ERP systems and other business applications.
• Facilitate Power BI analytics while ensuring data quality, governance, security, and lineage.
• Drive cloud migration projects, performance optimization, and implement CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and analytics.
• 6+ years of experience in cloud transformation projects.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure data platform.
• 3+ years of practical experience with Azure Fabric/lakehouse architecture.
• Strong expertise in Azure Integration Services: Logic Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management.
• Proficient in programming with PySpark, Spark SQL, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with notebook-based development (Databricks/Fabric).
• Knowledge of Data Architecture including Medallion architecture, Lakehouse concepts, 3NF, Data warehouse, and Dimensional modeling.
• Proficiency in integration techniques such as REST APIs, JSON, XML, OData, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Azure DevOps (ADO), GitHub, and Jenkins.
• Experience in reporting using Power BI and Semantic Models.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft BI Stack – SSIS, SSRS, SSAS (Preferred).
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a technical field.
• Microsoft certifications in Azure or Fabric are preferred.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution sectors is preferred.
