Azure Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain intricate, real-time, and batch data pipelines utilizing Azure Data Factory, Python/PySpark, and Databricks.

• Develop and execute contemporary data warehouse solutions, data models, and data lakes, focusing on performance and scalability optimization.

• Acquire, cleanse, and transform data from various sources into actionable data structures for analytical purposes.

• Establish security features, including role-based access control (RBAC), data encryption, and governance through Azure Purview.

⛳️ Requirements

• Performance Optimization & Monitoring: Diagnose and enhance data systems and SQL queries for efficiency; oversee data workflows.

• Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Conduct code reviews, guide junior engineers, and set technical standards and best practices.

• Collaboration: Partner with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to provide actionable business insights.

• Azure Services: Proficient in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Data Lake Storage.

• Languages & Tools: Knowledgeable in Python/PySpark, SQL, Scala, and CI/CD (DevOps) tools.

• Processes: Experienced in ETL/ELT, Data Modelling, and Data processing.
