Azure CloudOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform to provision and manage Azure resources.

• Construct and enhance CI/CD pipelines for the automated deployment of infrastructure and application release cycles.

• Oversee Azure/AWS cloud infrastructure, which includes VMs, App Services, AKS/ACS, databases, and networking.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for infrastructure, using tools such as DataDog.

• Establish and uphold best practices for infrastructure security, compliance standards, and disaster recovery protocols.

• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and encourage knowledge sharing among team members.

• Collaborate with development teams to resolve infrastructure issues and enhance application performance.

• Lead initiatives related to infrastructure planning and capacity management.

• Document decisions made regarding architecture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering.

• Practical experience with Terraform and principles of Infrastructure as Code.

• Experience in production environments using Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud services and resources.

• Strong skills in at least one scripting language: PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

• Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions.

• Comprehensive understanding of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with tools for infrastructure monitoring and observability.

• Strong knowledge of cloud security, network architecture, and identity management.

• Familiarity with Terraform/IaC.

• Knowledge of Azure or AWS compute, networking, storage, and databases.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, including Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

• Proficiency in Git version control and collaborative development practices.

• Experience in infrastructure monitoring and alerting.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

• Capability to mentor and guide junior team members.

• Commitment to proactive continuous learning and keeping up to date with cloud technologies.

• Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

• Base salary range of 150,000.00 to 187,000.00 PLN annually.
