Azure Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Address customer support inquiries utilizing industry-leading tools.

• Tackle the most complex customer demands within Azure-hosted environments.

• Achieve customer satisfaction by providing thoughtful and innovative responses to their requests.

• Identify, assess, and rectify infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment challenges in Azure.

• Architect, implement, and maintain Azure infrastructure, including virtual networks, compute resources, storage, and security services.

• Support Azure governance, policy enforcement, and compliance configurations in accordance with healthcare regulatory standards.

• Participate in periodic on-call rotations for 24/7 support requests.

• Continuously enhance your Azure and broader cloud engineering expertise and skills.

• Manage critical L2 Support Engineering requirements, including the deployment of new services using Infrastructure as Code and other innovative methods.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US citizen residing in the United States.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate certification is required.

• Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Terraform Associate certifications are preferred.

• Ability to work across various US time zones.

• A minimum of three years of proven experience with Microsoft Azure.

• Experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud is advantageous.

• Hands-on experience with building and deploying infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or Bicep.

• Proficiency in Azure core services: Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Virtual Network, Azure Active Directory, Azure Monitor, Key Vault, and Azure Policy.

• Basic understanding of networking and network layer topology, including Azure-native constructs.

• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines or equivalent CI/CD tools.

• Self-motivated and proactive.

• Capable of taking ownership of individual tasks while providing leadership and mentorship to a team.
