This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design secure and scalable infrastructures in Azure GovCloud and establish network connectivity.
• Develop cloud-native data platforms, pipelines, and analytical architectures.
• Automate the provisioning of cloud resources utilizing Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
• Maintain consistently FedRAMP-compliant environments.
• Implement Azure Active Directory, Role-Based Access Control, least-privilege access, encryption, and security measures aligned with NIST standards.
• Apply DISA STIGs and CIS benchmarks, leading architecture reviews and documentation efforts.
• Promote FinOps optimization and advise engineering teams on cloud best practices.
• Facilitate migration and modernization through configuration-level adjustments.
• Aim for Platform as a Service (PaaS) and cloud-native solutions whenever feasible.
• Replatform applications that can take advantage of Azure PaaS.
• Rehost applications using Azure Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) when Azure PaaS is not applicable.
• Leverage the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience.
• US Citizenship is mandatory.
• Proven experience in leading teams of five or more individuals.
• Extensive expertise in Azure, Terraform/Bicep, networking, automation, and security.
• Knowledge of Ansible, PowerShell DSC, and contemporary development tools or languages.
• Ability to engage with and present to government officials at all levels.
• Required Certification(s): Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional.
