This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Assist in the development, documentation, communication, and enforcement of a network technology policy.

• Take charge of the installation and configuration of new software and hardware, including server networks, devices, and firewalls.

• Oversee the monitoring of system performance, IT system operations, and storage utilization.

• Proactively plan for essential hardware or software upgrades to facilitate system growth.

• Manage user accounts and assets, as well as assign and update security permissions on the network in accordance with security policies.

• Provide assistance with escalated help desk requests.

• Possess expert knowledge of RHEL, Windows, and other open-source technologies.

• Carry out standard system administrative tasks.

• Analyze system performance logs to pinpoint anomalies and troubleshoot issues.

• Identify the root cause and document troubleshooting steps leading to resolution.

• Support Active Directory/LDAP, certificate services, network communications, and ensure compliance with group policy and security measures.

• Deliver Tier III support (problem/incident management).

• Work autonomously as well as collaboratively in team settings to meet key project and program objectives and deliverables.

• Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of experience, Master's degree with 3-5 years, or PhD degree with 2 years of experience.

• Advanced knowledge of RHEL, Windows, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and other open-source technologies.

• Experience in Cloud Systems Administration.

• U.S. citizenship and the capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government agency level clearance.

• Proven experience collaborating with technical teams possessing a variety of IT-related skill sets.

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of AWS cloud technologies, along with experience in using and deploying them.

• Exceptional communication and analytical skills, complemented by technical knowledge across the client environment.

• Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation.

• AWS certifications are a PLUS.
