AWS Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and develop AWS data engineering components such as Lambda, S3, and database integrations.

• Construct and manage data pipelines that connect AWS systems with Snowflake.

• Implement features of Snowflake, including AI components like Cortex, Cortex Code, and AI functions.

• Take ownership of the design and execution of data marts, data warehouses, and data lakes.

• Create data models and outline process flows for comprehensive data integration.

• Independently generate initial architecture drafts for subsequent review by the architecture team.

• Work collaboratively with architects and stakeholders to enhance designs and ensure they align with project objectives.

• Emphasize senior-level delivery of data engineering solutions and facilitate handoff to operational teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6-9 years of practical experience in data engineering.

• Proficient in AWS Lambda.

• Proficient in AWS S3.

• Experienced with databases and related AWS services.

• Familiar with Snowflake, including its AI components (Cortex, Cortex Code, AI functions).

• Strong understanding of data marts, data warehouses, data lake design, data modeling, and process flows.

• Demonstrated ability to create initial architecture drafts autonomously for architectural review.

• Profile scope: senior-level data engineering experience (not focused on application/app development).
