AWS Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design and evolve end-to-end data architectures on AWS.

• Define, document, and govern data models, standards, and best practices.

• Create solutions for data ingestion, storage, processing, and exposure.

• Lead technical decisions related to Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and advanced analytics systems.

• Assess new AWS technologies and services to enhance the platform.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Data Engineering, Analytics, DevOps, Security).

• Oversee data quality, privacy, and security across all layers.

• Support clients and provide strategic insights in data-driven transformation projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Architect, Senior Data Engineer, or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of the AWS ecosystem (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, EMR, etc.).

• Experience in designing: Data Lakes and Lakehouses, Dimensional Modeling, Data Vault, high-performance ETL/ELT processes, etc.

• Proficiency in Python and SQL.

• Desirable knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and orchestration tools (Airflow, Step Functions).

• Preferred to have AWS certifications.

• Experience with Snowflake / dbt is a plus.
