AWS Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will oversee the daily operations and ongoing enhancement of our clients' AWS environments.

• Serving as a trusted advisor, you will proactively guide customers on performance, stability, and cloud security matters.

• You will implement changes, independently manage smaller projects, and lead them to successful outcomes.

• Automation is your norm: you regularly utilize Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) in your daily tasks.

• With a keen eye for existing infrastructures, you will identify areas for improvement in solutions.

• You will take part in the on-call rotation, for which we provide attractive additional compensation and time-off in lieu.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess substantial professional experience in cloud environments, particularly with AWS.

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) is a familiar tool in your toolkit, not just a concept.

• You have a consultative approach and can communicate confidently with customers on intricate subjects.

• As a proactive team player, you enjoy taking responsibility and sharing your knowledge with the team.

• You have experience with tools such as Datadog, Jira, AWS Security Hub, or Wiz.

• Ideally, you also have experience with Kubernetes.

• You are fluent in both German and English, enabling effective communication with customers and internal collaboration.
