This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Assist program teams in the daily oversight of donor agreements received by IYF, which includes monitoring essential award requirements, deliverables, reporting deadlines, budget considerations, compliance responsibilities, and necessary approvals.
• Aid in the review, drafting, processing, and management of subawards, contracts, amendments, and associated documentation issued by IYF to partners, vendors, consultants, or other third parties.
• Collaborate with program teams, Finance, country offices, and partners to ensure that these agreements are complete, precise, and in alignment with donor requirements, IYF policies, applicable registrations, and approved program activities.
• Assist in compliance reviews and help pinpoint donor requirements, restrictions, approvals, reporting obligations, documentation necessities, and potential risks linked to donor agreements received by IYF.
• Contribute to the development and upkeep of compliance matrices, due diligence records, award files, templates, internal guidance, trackers, and filing structures.
• Support periodic evaluations of award, subaward, and contract records to promote data quality, audit readiness, and consistent documentation practices.
• Aid in the utilization and ongoing enhancement of IYF’s award management systems and records.
• Work collaboratively with program, finance, business development, operations, and other relevant teams to ensure effective communication, timely follow-up, and practical solutions to award management and compliance issues.
• Proven experience in supporting award management, subawards, contracts, compliance, project operations, or donor-funded programs within a nonprofit, social impact, or international development context.
• Familiarity with both private and public donors is preferred.
• Capability to comprehend donor requirements, award terms and conditions, and associated compliance obligations, applying them to daily award management and program support.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple deadlines, documents, and follow-up tasks across projects.
• Capacity to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and discern when escalation of issues is necessary.
• Ability to identify problems and risks promptly, offer recommendations, and collaborate effectively in group problem-solving and risk management scenarios.
• Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills for effective collaboration in a multicultural and international setting.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish are required.
• Excellent proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with online award management systems, collaboration platforms, or similar tools is a valuable asset.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a field related to IYF’s mission and programs, along with approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience in award management, subawards, contracts, compliance, project operations, donor-funded programs, or a related area.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as required.
