This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Evaluate aviation-related data to assist in making informed decisions regarding flight routes, expenditure practices, employee productivity, safety, aviation regulations, national security, and other pertinent topics.
• Employ data analytics to forecast and estimate aspects related to aviation.
• Conduct operational analyses and formulate concepts of operations.
• Assess architecture, overall systems design, operational concepts, along with design and implementation strategies.
• Execute data-driven evaluations, including exploring alternative actions when interconnected projects face delays.
• Discover opportunities for the integration of new technologies.
• Offer technical support in strategic planning, research and development, operations research, systems engineering, and development of briefings.
• Create and prepare various documents and presentations.
• Deliver direct support for Business Process Re-engineering (BPR).
• Develop As-Is, To-Be, and Alternatives Analyses, recommending enhancements to existing processes and procedures for organizations associated with the BNATCS RSR Program.
• A Bachelor's degree with 6 or more years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 4 or more years of experience.
• Five years of pertinent experience can replace the Bachelor's degree requirement.
• Acceptable equivalent experience includes aviation data analysis within the U.S. Military or an international control environment.
• Proficiency in aviation data analysis tools and software, including Tableau, Excel, or similar platforms.
• A strong grasp of FAA regulations, national security protocols, and industry best practices is highly desirable.
• Experience in developing and delivering technical briefings to stakeholders across various organizational levels.
• Capability to perform Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and spearhead process improvement initiatives.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to create technical documents and reports.
• Familiarity with systems engineering and operations research methodologies is advantageous.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain FAA public trust and FAA resume approval.
• 10% travel requirement.
