Automotive Flying Doctor Technician – Freelancer Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Delivering on-site assistance, particularly in relation to electric buses.

• Overseeing escalated technical issues from front-line support, verifying information, conducting in-depth analyses, and determining corrective measures.

• Offering both remote and on-site support to dealers and technical teams to guarantee prompt and efficient vehicle repairs.

• Creating clear and structured technical reports for OEM and internal stakeholders, emphasizing risks, trends, and areas needing improvement.

• Tracking activity KPIs (case aging, recurrence, fix-it-right-first-time) and signaling early warning signs regarding product or process challenges.

• Contributing to the technical knowledge base and best practices, facilitating the continuous development of Level 1 agents and workshops.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong technical background in the automotive field with experience in diagnostics and complex repairs (in dealer, workshop, or OEM settings).

• Demonstrated ability to analyze technical data, fault codes, and log files to uncover root causes and recurring vehicle issues.

• Proficient in translating OEM technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and procedures into straightforward repair instructions for workshops.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; capable of clarifying complex technical subjects in an easily understandable manner.

• Collaborative team player with a proactive approach, logical and curious mindset, able to function effectively in multi-market, multi-stakeholder environments.
