This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Execute all responsibilities of an F&I Manager in alignment with effective business practices.
• Meet the performance benchmarks established by the company or its leadership.
• Identify and address discrepancies in client performance and processes that impact solicitation, sales, and profit margins for Assurant Dealer Services products.
• Plan, organize, and lead client meetings.
• Provide training for dealership staff on Assurant Dealer Services products, policies, and procedures.
• Discover opportunities for Assurant Dealer Services products that are not currently available to existing clients.
• Prepare Home Office reports, including 2-day kickoff worksheets, trip reports, and post-assignment evaluations.
• Submit travel and business expense reports and receipts punctually.
• Arrange airline, hotel, and car rental bookings through the Corporate Travel Department.
• Fulfill requests from the Program Administrator, Director of Training, and other company personnel.
• Manage expenses in accordance with Assurant Dealer Services policies.
• Travel frequently to client locations, with an estimated 80% of travel being nationwide.
• At least 3 years of experience in retail automotive dealership, specifically in F&I.
• In-depth understanding of retail automobile dealership operations.
• Current state licensing is mandatory for the assigned territory, or the ability to obtain it post-training.
• The candidate must reside in Michigan or the metro Chicago area.
• Proven experience in retail sales within the automotive sector is advantageous.
• Minimum of 2 years in sales, management, and customer relations.
• Strong sales capabilities.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
• Proficient problem-solving and customer service abilities.
• Competency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Ability to function both as a team player and independently.
• Completion and graduation from the 1-week FSM Training Class is required.
• Willingness to relocate for career advancement opportunities is essential.
• Must be prepared for extensive travel; approximately 80% of travel is nationwide.
• Competitive salary of $108,000.
