Automation Tester Engineer, Python, Pytest, AI Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Creating, developing, and implementing automated testing scripts utilizing Python and Pytest frameworks.

• Utilizing AI technologies to enhance test coverage and improve defect identification.

• Working in close collaboration with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of relevant experience.

• Framework Development — Develop and maintain shared Python/Pytest testing frameworks and libraries that are used by teams throughout the organization.

• CI/CD Integration — Establish reusable GitLab CI/CD patterns for automated testing that teams can easily implement and rely upon.

• Toolchain Ownership — Manage the testing toolchain (K6, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform-managed infrastructure) to ensure it is accessible, functional, and well-documented.

• Experience with the Scrum framework.

• Proficiency in AI-Accelerated Output.

• Claude Code proficiency required.

• Expected to facilitate multi-file changes, test generation, and CI debugging through these tools — not simply autocomplete.

• Experience in cross-team collaboration with SDETs, Developers, and QAs.

• Strong communication skills in English.
