Automation Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Creating, developing, and sustaining automated testing scripts.

• Integrated workflows of desktop applications into Selenium testing scripts.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure that test cases meet business goals.

• Design and implement test cases for UI and functional testing of web applications.

• Identify and resolve issues in test automation and the applications being tested.

• Continuously improve test automation frameworks and procedures.

• Maintain clear and comprehensive test documentation and reports.

• Keep informed about the latest trends, tools, and best practices in automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Selenium Automation Engineer.

• Proficiency in Java/Python.

• In-depth understanding of desktop application process automation (e.g., Excel and Access database operations).

• Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with manual testing.

• Practical experience with Selenium WebDriver using Java for web-based automation.

• Skilled in automating processes in Excel and text files (e.g., reading/writing using Apache POI or similar libraries) and Access Database (e.g., iterating with .accdb files using Java or other appropriate tools).

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities for test scripts and application functionalities.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

• Expertise in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestNG, or JUnit), build tools such as Maven or Gradle, and proficiency in development tools like IntelliJ IDE or Eclipse.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins.

• Exceptional communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Strong command of Java and its ecosystem, including libraries and frameworks for automation.

• Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
