Automation Engineer – SSE I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of comprehensive quality engineering for enterprise applications by creating scalable automation frameworks, utilizing AI-assisted testing, and promoting CI/CD-integrated continuous quality methodologies across UI, API, and backend layers.

• Design and sustain scalable, AI-enhanced automation frameworks for both web and API testing.

• Develop intelligent test suites (API, UI, integration, regression, E2E) featuring adaptive test coverage.

• Automate the verification of authentication processes (OAuth2/JWT, Azure AD) within pipelines.

• Conduct API, UI, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.

• Validate authentication workflows for OAuth2/JWT and Azure AD.

• Create robust UI automation featuring self-healing capabilities and AI-driven selectors.

• Develop database validation scripts to ensure backend data integrity.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

• Collaborate closely with developers and DevOps teams to guarantee release quality.

• Lead defect analytics, root cause analysis, and coverage enhancement using AI tools.

• Validate intricate workflows, integrations, and large-scale multi-tenant systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 15 years of formal education, with a Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

• Professional experience of 5 to 7 years in Automation Testing.

• Proficient programming skills in C#/.NET with an automation-first design approach.

• Familiarity with Test Frameworks such as NUnit 4, Selenium WebDriver 4, and Fluent Assertions.

• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools for test development.

• Expertise in API automation and security testing (REST, OAuth2/JWT).

• Proficient in UI automation using Angular with Karma/Jasmine or modern equivalents.

• Experience with SQL Server and T-SQL validation.

• Testing experience with ASP.NET MVC 5, Web API 2, EF6, and WCF.

• Skills in test reporting and observability tools (Allure, telemetry-driven quality insights).

• Experience in testing multi-tenant applications.

• Familiarity with self-healing automation frameworks (Playwright / AI-enabled tools) is a plus.

• Knowledge of the mortgage domain is advantageous.
