Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Collaborate within dynamic, agile teams to develop and enhance a robust software platform.

• Take ownership of complete feature releases and enhancements delivered by the team.

• Actively participate in the technical design process, utilizing your expertise and analysis to drive data-informed decisions.

• Make significant contributions to the design, development, testing, and deployment of our cloud platform and web applications.

• Support all aspects of our platform, from the database layer to the frontend interface.

• Continuously explore, learn, and implement new technologies and services to optimize development efficiency.

• Foster a culture focused on testing, quality, and meticulous attention to detail by endorsing best practices, including writing and maintaining extensive test coverage.

• Actively engage in ensuring the client adheres to a disciplined approach to healthcare security.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is required.

• At least 3 years of experience in the software development lifecycle is necessary.

• Proven experience working on software development teams, creating and deploying full-stack web applications.

• Ability to collaborate closely with product and design team members to create applications that deliver the highest quality user experience for healthcare practitioners.

• A passion for developing high-quality products and a desire to take ownership of product development from start to finish, adhering to excellent design and development standards.

• Experience in designing and implementing scalable data services and APIs.

• Proficiency in building applications using Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.

• Familiarity with web application security practices such as XSS, CORS, CSRF protection, Clickjacking protection, and SQL Injection.

• In-depth knowledge of Cypress (JavaScript or TypeScript).

• Strong understanding of REST-assured API testing framework and Postman.

• Good knowledge of Grafana k6 for performance automated testing.

• Experience with CI/CD using GitHub Actions workflows.

• Familiarity with common software development practices, including version control and unit testing.

• Previous experience in establishing automation frameworks for both UI and API testing from the ground up.

• Experience with AI technologies, such as Copilot, Amazon Q agents, or Playwright MCP.

• A team player interested in thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.
