Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain automation solutions across PSA, RMM, and cloud platforms.

• Optimize workflows, speed up ticket resolution, and ensure compliance in client environments.

• Construct and manage reusable automations using Immybot, PowerShell/Python.

• Develop event-driven workflows utilizing APIs, webhooks, and iPaaS/RPA.

• Analyze existing service workflows to reduce inefficiencies through automation.

• Automate tasks related to asset lifecycle management.

• Maintain configuration hygiene across various tenants.

• Establish CI/CD pipelines for scripts and policy-as-code.

• Integrate PSA, RMM, documentation, and billing systems to guarantee a Single Source of Truth (SSOT).

• Document runbooks and code; empower technicians to execute automations safely.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in an MSP or a comparable multi-tenant setting.

• Proficient in PowerShell scripting; familiarity with Python is a plus.

• Practical experience with at least one PSA (ConnectWise Manage, Autotask) and one RMM (NinjaOne, N-central, Kaseya, Datto RMM, Intune for device management).

• Experience in Microsoft 365/Azure AD/Entra/Intune administration and policy automation.

• Proficient with APIs: REST, JSON, OAuth; capable of building integrations between PSA, RMM, documentation, and monitoring tools.

• Knowledge of version control (Git), code review, and basic CI/CD processes for scripts.

• Understanding of ITIL practices regarding incident/request/change management and risk management for changes.

• Strong documentation skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical automation solutions.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, or other RPA/iPaaS tools (preferred).

• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code or policy-as-code (e.g., Intune templates, Graph API automation) (preferred).

• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (e.g., Sentinel, Log Analytics, Splunk, Datadog) (preferred).

• Knowledge of security automation: Conditional Access, Defender for Endpoint policies, workflows for vulnerability remediation (preferred).

• Relevant certifications: CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft MS-102/SC-200/MD-102, ITIL Foundation, and pertinent RMM/PSA certifications (preferred).
