This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct research to identify and access APIs, gaining an understanding of their structures, endpoints, and available data without resorting to screen scraping methods.

• When necessary, reverse engineer web APIs using tools such as Burp Suite, Postman, or Fiddler, and perform reconstructive analysis from a quality assurance perspective.

• Develop robust, scalable code to extract pertinent data from public APIs and accurately convert it into standardized data models and structures.

• Design and implement API integrations by utilizing a comprehensive understanding of web fundamentals, which includes HTML, DOM, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP/S, client/server architecture, and networking protocols.

• Employ a solid knowledge of REST APIs, including authentication mechanisms like JWT, SAML, OAuth, and data transfer processes, to ensure smooth API interactions across various network environments.

• Create and execute solutions to manage bot detection techniques, such as request throttling, device fingerprinting, and CAPTCHA mitigation.

• Decompose the development of products and features into manageable, iterative releases, showcasing strong problem-solving abilities.

• Document findings and engage in effective collaboration with development teams through excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Work independently and take initiative while thriving in a collaborative team environment.

• Assume responsibility throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including quality assurance, building, deployment, and support of production systems.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 3 years of software development experience as a full-stack engineer, concentrating on building web applications with Node.js and TypeScript, alongside knowledge of a variety of technologies and test automation frameworks.

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.

• Possesses a strong sense of personal accountability for delivering impactful results by being self-motivated, proactive, pragmatic, and results-driven.

• Displays a keen attention to detail and a desire to solve challenging problems rather than merely identifying them.

• Capable of rapidly learning large software systems from end to end.
