Automation Analyst (Mid-Level)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold automated testing scripts

• Develop and carry out functional, regression, and integration testing scenarios

• Evaluate requirements and pinpoint scenarios that are apt for automation

• Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts

• Recognize, document, and monitor defects and inconsistencies

• Confirm fixes and conduct regression testing

• Sustain and improve automation frameworks

• Conduct API and REST service tests

• Incorporate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

• Work collaboratively with developers, analysts, and Product Owners to ensure quality delivery

• Engage in ceremonies and practices related to Agile methodologies

• Aid in the ongoing enhancement of quality processes, tools, and strategies

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed or pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related areas

• Proficiency in test automation

• Familiarity with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium

• Proficient in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python

• Experience with API/REST testing

• Knowledge of Postman or comparable tools

• Understanding of BDD, Gherkin, and Cucumber

• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar test and/or defect management tools

• Familiarity with Git

• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing

• Preferred: experience with CI/CD

• Preferred: familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps

• Preferred: experience with Docker

• Preferred: understanding of databases and SQL queries

• Preferred: experience with testing in cloud environments

• Preferred: knowledge of quality metrics and indicators

• Preferred: CTFL/ISTQB certification
