Automatic Door Install Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Execute installation or service tasks as assigned in a profitable and efficient manner.

• Document productive time compared to travel time.

• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks as per the service program specified for each customer.

• Accurately maintain all work records and parts utilized at each job following established procedures.

• Stay informed about all updates/modifications to Stanley equipment and the Ansi156.10 standard as communicated through published updates.

• Properly maintain company vehicles, tools, and other properties.

• Present a neat and professional appearance both personally and in workmanship, adhering to company policies.

• Ensure adequate parts inventory for the service vehicle; maintain an inventory log.

• Test equipment prior to leaving the job site and conduct a safety check.

• Foster positive customer relations and provide excellent customer service.

• Assist and train others in installation/service techniques.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

• Valid state driver's license with no restrictions.

• Capacity to lift 75-100 lbs.

• Flexible working hours are essential, with the ability to work nights and/or weekends as required.

• Previous experience in the construction industry or electrical field (Preferred).

• Prior experience in servicing automated doors, glazing, installing glass, constructing door frames, reading blueprints, and AAADM Certification (Preferred).
