This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Conduct thorough investigations of automobile insurance claims to assess coverage, liability, and damages by analyzing policy terms, coverage limits, and exclusions.
• Engage in effective communication and collaboration with clients, claimants, agents, repair facilities, service providers, and attorneys to clarify the repair and total loss processes.
• Evaluate damaged vehicles and equipment utilizing claims estimating software and generate fair, accurate repair estimates virtually.
• Review and negotiate estimates from repair facilities; make necessary adjustments to supplements or assign independent adjusters when needed.
• Oversee the repair process from start to finish and authorize payments in line with established guidelines.
• Conduct total loss evaluations and inform clients and third-party claimants about salvage release requirements.
• Reduce storage costs by organizing vehicle transport to facilities that do not charge for storage and negotiating lower rates with tow providers when applicable.
• Ensure accurate and comprehensive claim files, documentation, and activity logs are maintained in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Recognize potential subrogation opportunities, prepare necessary documentation, and submit demands to the responsible parties or their insurance carriers.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; some college coursework or education related to insurance is preferred.
• A minimum of two to three (2-3) years of experience as a 1st party Auto Physical Damage Adjuster is necessary.
• Active Adjuster’s license(s) must be held as mandated by state(s) of operation.
• Experience handling Commercial Trucking claims is essential.
• Experience with specialty or heavy equipment claims is preferred.
• Up-to-date technical knowledge of auto collision repair techniques and industry standards is required.
• Proficiency in one or more estimating platforms, such as CCC One, Mitchell, and/or Audatex is necessary.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills are essential.
• A solid understanding of insurance claims concepts, practices, and procedures is required.
• Excellent organizational abilities with keen attention to detail are necessary.
• A demonstrated commitment to customer service and professional communication is expected.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel is required.
