
Auto Key Accounts Manager – Tier

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Develop strategies and initiatives with assigned tier accounts to foster growth in North America.
• Maintain regular communication with global key account managers regarding assigned accounts to capitalize on global opportunities for sales in North America.
• Collaborate closely with the North American sales team to ensure that activities related to assigned tier accounts, including specifications, designs, and pricing at each OEM, are managed efficiently.
• Enhance relationships with key corporate design and purchasing personnel at tier accounts to convey activities and opportunities from each OEM account into a cohesive overview.
• Present HellermannTyton’s global strengths and capabilities effectively to key account stakeholders to enhance brand perception and broaden the vision for opportunities.
• Collaborate with the HellermannTyton North American sales team on OEM calls to drive sales on key platforms and initiatives.
• Build relationships within assigned tier accounts to identify new opportunities for HellermannTyton.
• Generate automotive production forecasts using IHS Automotive and analyze data relevant to HellermannTyton’s customers or potential business.
• Proactively recommend improvements to expand HellermannTyton’s automotive business.
• A bachelor’s degree is required, with a preference for a degree in business or engineering.
• A minimum of three years of experience with a manufacturer in the automotive sector is essential.
• A proven track record of increasing sales through effective key account management is necessary.
• Must possess the capability to devise and implement strategies, as well as develop and finalize sales opportunities.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is required.
• A solid understanding of basic financial principles regarding ROI and quoting is necessary.
• High energy and the ability to foster and support a team-oriented atmosphere are essential.
• Proven skills in project management and organization are required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is required.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Willingness to travel globally is essential.
• A valid driver's license is required, with an acceptable driving record and adequate insurance.
