Auto Insurance Claims Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Lead and inspire claims personnel while ensuring that workflow, workload, and service levels are efficiently achieved.

• Formulate strategies aimed at decreasing loss costs and ensuring streamlined claim processing.

• Establish and assess performance metrics for accountability and team success.

• Oversee regulatory compliance to minimize complaints.

• Manage, evaluate, and authorize claims, with a close focus on high-priority cases.

• Mentor adjusters to achieve or surpass service goals and regulatory standards.

• Negotiate claims to secure favorable outcomes while minimizing expenses.

• Promote collaboration within the Claims Department among staff, supervisors, and managers.

• Recognize opportunities for process improvement to ensure operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

• At least 3 years of experience in claims management.

• Experience with Indiana and/or Pennsylvania claims is preferred.

• Familiarity with Illinois, Tennessee, or Texas claims is advantageous.

• Background in nonstandard auto insurance is beneficial.

• Strong skills in customer service.

• Expertise in fast-track claim processing.

• Proficient in negotiating with attorneys and pro se litigants.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficient in technology and coverage/liability analysis.

• High degree of responsibility, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
