Auto Damage Trainee – Field

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Examine and evaluate vehicle damage

• Calculate the costs for vehicle repairs

• Negotiate fair settlements

• Collaborate with body shops, rental agencies, and parts suppliers

• Consult with all parties involved

• Review insurance agreements

• Inspect vehicles and prepare estimates

• Manage rental vehicle arrangements

• Address customer issues

• Enhance customer satisfaction through impactful interactions

• Complete mandatory hands-on training at the Ashburn, VA training facility and field training center

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is a must

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with company underwriting standards is required

• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, and empathy skills

• Must be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing and multitasking across various platforms

• Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred

• Background in high-volume call centers with KPIs and measurable objectives is preferred

• Active Adjuster’s license is preferred

• Currently, GEICO is unable to sponsor new applicants for employment authorization for this position
