Auto Damage Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop or evaluate detailed damage estimates for both 1st and 3rd party material damage claims.

• Assess, draft, and negotiate auto estimates and supplements in collaboration with body shops.

• Manage supplements, dedicating approximately 95% of the role to supplement management.

• Provide training, mentorship, quality control, and technical support on material damage claims.

• Negotiate settlements, process settlement payments, and maintain documentation in complex files spanning multiple lines.

• Assess settlement options to ensure regulatory compliance and uphold fair claims practices.

• Foster relationships with both internal and external customers.

• Work alongside repair facilities to assess vehicle damage and ensure accurate and timely claim resolutions.

• This position does not entail supervisory responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experienced Auto Estimator with a focus on supplements.

• Strong expertise in technical estimating.

• Profound knowledge of repair procedures.

• Excellent negotiation abilities with repair facilities.

• Experience in drafting estimates using CCC One.

• Proficient in Microsoft applications.

• Solid foundational knowledge of estimating across claims of varying severities.

• Comprehensive understanding of all policy types issued by the company.

• Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States.

• Must reside in a state within the Eastern time zone.

• A dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions is required.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is essential.
