Auto Claims Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Investigate and validate the facts surrounding losses related to basic to complex automobile accidents.

• Assess coverage, liability, and damages associated with claims.

• Adjust and negotiate claims within the limits of your authority.

• Review police reports and gather witness statements to investigate automobile claims.

• Confirm coverage and establish liability.

• Collaborate with designated fraud or subrogation representatives to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Recognize and identify vehicle body components and other possible property damage.

• Understand customer needs and respond effectively using suitable customer service skills.

• Evaluate subrogation or fraud potential and strategize appropriate handling methods.

• Utilize an intermediate understanding of company and industry insurance policies.

• Manage all facets of auto claims, encompassing coverage, damages, and subrogation, while exercising discretion and independence within greater authority.

⛳️ Requirements

• Level of experience and qualifications will dictate the position and base salary.

• Intermediate knowledge of insurance policies as dictated by the company and the industry.

• Familiarity with automobile accidents, auto insurance claims, claims administration, claims resolution, and claims review.

• Proficient in insurance claims investigation and possess strong investigative skills.

• Ability to recognize and identify vehicle body parts and assess potential property damage.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset.

• Capability to multitask while exercising discretion and independence.

• Authorization to work in the United States is required.

• Suitable desk and seating arrangement for home-based work.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
